Dawnne Gee is a recent transplant to the Great State of South Dakota, after nearly 40 years of having moved around way too much. He now resides in Harrisburg, SD with his wife Ann Krause (a Fargo, ND native), two children, two cats and a wide variety of wildlife that still roams northeastern Lincoln County.

Photography is the basis of Dawnne's creative work, but most of his creativity is expressed through Adobe PhotoShop. Only one of the photographs presented here on Made In South Dakota was not digitally altered. Dawnne pursues his digital photography primarily in Lincoln County and the area surrounding Big Stone Lake. Since he travels around the State as a soccer referee, he is continually searching for intriguing wildlife and landscapes in out-of-the-way places. He also enjoys bringing the "little things" into light.

ShadowMoon Productions, which Dawnne founded originally in Albuquerque, NM in 1995, is a "new media" production company offering personal and commercial services ranging from wedding coverage to product shots, with a specific emphasis on environmental photography. He has been formatively involved in the digital imaging and digital photography industries since the early 1990's.

In the Summer of 2006, ShadowMoon will be producing the "Synthaetica" brand of products featuring Dawnne's nature photography exclusively on the Made in South Dakota site.

ShadowMoon Productions is a member of the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and the official photographic sponsor of the Sioux Falls Spitfire. Dawnne is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, the North American Nature Photography Association, the National Association of PhotoShop Professionals, and the South Dakota Artists Network.
